The Greater Waco Chamber & Business Quarterly received a Grand Award in the 2008 Awards for Communication Excellence from the American Chamber of Commerce Executives recently at their annual convention in Raleigh, NC.

The ACE awards recognize outstanding communications in Chambers of Commerce. The Greater Waco Chamber competes at the highest level with the largest Chambers in the United States. The Grand Award is given to the highest scoring entry in each division.

The Chamber's magazine won in the Member & Community Communications division.

 The Chamber also received an Award of Excellence for the Greater Waco Chamber Grand Opening event for the opening of the new building last year.

"It's an honor to be recognized by your peers in the Chamber realm," said Lesly Rascoe, vice president of communications for the Greater Waco Chamber. "Our magazine is an important piece of our communications program, and we are indebted to our sponsors who make this publication possible for our membership."

The magazine explores relevant topics to the Greater Waco business community and provides a platform for members to be lauded for their work to grow Waco.
